An outstanding father, coach and employee, Darren Scudder is an irreplaceable piece of Proehlific Park’s daily activities. Serving as Operations Coordinator, Scudder oversees a variety of day-to-day activities that help the park run smoothly. 

Scudder is a graduate of East Forsyth High School and was active in baseball and basketball throughout his time there.  Upon graduation, he worked for Piedmont Airlines, based in Dayton, Ohio.  Following his stint there, he served as an Operations Supervisor for US Airways in Greensboro and Charlotte.  He has also worked as a project manager for Sessoms Builders and as a Sales Representative for 84 Lumber. 

As well as Operations Coordinator, Scudder also serves along side Ricky Proehl in coaching Proehlific Park’s U13 baseball team.  He has been coaching youth baseball for the last 9 years. Darren brings an unmatched passion and love for his job and for helping kids develop into well-rounded adults. 

Scudder met his wife Kelly while working in Dayton and they married in 1989.   They currently live in Kernersville with their two children, Brooke and Zach.
