Micheala earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science and Masters of Business Administration from Elon University. While at Elon, Micheala was a member of the Elon Women's soccer team.

She went on to play for the semi-pro Piedmont Spark in Greensboro and has worked with Elon and Guilford College as an assistant soccer coach. Currently, she is the assistant women's soccer coach at Greensboro College, specializing in strength and conditioning and nutrition.
