Glenn Cashion has over twenty years of volleyball playing and coaching experience. An avid doubles player, Glenn has played USA Volleyball for several years. In 1993 his team won the Carolina Region A Division Championship and in 1995 they took second place. He has coached the Piedmont Volleyball Club since 1994. In 1995 his 16 and under team, and in 1997 his 18 and under team won the Carolina Regional championship and went to the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic National Tournament.

Glenn has also coached at Grimsley High School, Page High School and was an Assistant Coach at Guilford College for 6 years. In 1995 and 1996 he established the women’s volleyball club at UNCG and assisted the varsity squad for Mid State 2-A conference champion Western Guilford High School.

Cashion is now building the volleyball program at Proehlific Park and has established several clubs, tournaments and leagues there. Additionally Glenn currently owns and operates a construction business that renovates historical houses. He also has experience in commercial and residential building too. Glenn has been married for 11 years to Anne and they have two children, Sam and Max.
