Tim Snow is a native of
Winston Salem and attended East Forsyth High School where he played baseball
for three years. For two of those years, Tim was recognized as an all-conference
player. East Carolina University recruited Tim and he played there as an
infielder on a full scholarship. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers
in the 21st round of the June draft in 1988 and played shortstop and
second base in their minor league system.
Tim
is currently a full time Children’s Minister of 200 kids at First
Christian Church in Kernersville. Working with the kids at
Proehlific Park will blend two of Tim’s passions, “I love teaching kids not
only about baseball, but also about life!”
Tim
is married to his wife Sharon for 20 years. They have two boys Chris who
is 19 and Taylor who is 12.
