Now Accepting Children in 2nd grade (or 7 years old) and up for After School Care
Proehlific Park has a brand new van that picks up students from Jesse Wharton Elementary, Jefferson Elementary and Greensboro Academy to bring them to the park for After School Care!
Spaces are limited on the van, please call to make sure there is a space availible. Additional Fee of $25/month for van pick up.
We are excited to have been approved by Guilford County Schools for bus drop-offs from the following schools: Claxton, Kernodle, Western Guilford, Pearce and Summerfield Elementary School.
Parents must enroll their child with the school to receive transportation!
A Typical Day in After School Care at Proehlific Park...
Elementary School Child:
2:45 to 3:00 pm: Arrival, check-in with ID cards and free play with coaches.
3:00 to 3:30 pm: Homework Huddles
(A CHILD NEEDING COMPUTERS FOR HOMEWORK MAY GO TO THE ACADEMIC CENTER. CHILDREN MAY STAY LONGER IN HOMEWORK HUDDLE IF NEEDED).
3:30 to 3:45 pm: Snack time in the Lounge for 2nd and 3rd grade
3:45 to 4:00 pm: Snack time in the Lounge for 4th and 5th grade
4:00 to 4:30 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday): Fitness squad
4:30 to 6:30 pm: Activities with Coaches (Activities will vary from day to day)
Middle School Child:
3:30 to 3:45 pm: Arrival, check-in with ID cards and free play with coaches
3:45 to 4:15 pm: Homework Huddle in the Academic Room
4:15 to 4:30 pm: Snack in Lounge for Middle School
4:30 to 6:30 pm: Activities with coaches (activities will vary from day to day)
*The park is not responsible for supplying pencils, calculators, paper, etc.
**Members need to bring their ID Card EVERY time they come to Proehlific Park. If they do not have their card, it is $1. If a child loses their card, there is a $5 replacement fee for a new card.
